Elena Marchetti
Lisbon, Portugal
Writer, designer, and thinker exploring the intersection of technology, culture, and intentional living. Previously at Stripe and Notion. Currently writing from wherever the WiFi is good.
I started The Margin as a space to think out loud about the things that fascinate me: how technology shapes our daily lives, why good design matters beyond aesthetics, and what it means to live intentionally in a world that rewards constant busyness.
Before writing full-time, I spent a decade building products at companies where design and engineering intersect. That experience taught me that the best ideas often live in the margins — in the quiet spaces between disciplines, between action and reflection.
When I'm not writing, you'll find me exploring Lisbon's neighborhoods on foot, experimenting with film photography, or reading more books than I can reasonably keep track of.
